Ella’s Blush Dresser is finally done! I explained the bleed-through issues and process HERE and today I worked on the finishing touches. It was sanded back in places to highlight its detail and a whitewash of Annie Sloan Old White was added to the body (not the drawers). I then sealed the Whitewashed Top in General Finishes Wipe-On Urethane and sealed the paint finish in Annie Sloan clear wax. This really deepened and brought out the paint colors. White ceramic flower inspired drawer pulls were added and set this feminine piece off beautifully. The whitewashed top and painted body give off a blush hue that is so lovely.
