I’ve spent a few busy days working on the beautiful chest of drawers that I shared on Tuesday. I finally figured out how to create Instagram Live videos (not the quickest out the gate on this one lol) and I made a few of these videos this week on the progress! I’m using General Finishes Chalk Style paint in the color Limestone and am applying the General Finishes Flat Out Flat topcoat.

It looks fine. But how does it feel, compared with wax? I realize that we can’t feel it through a video but perhaps you can describe the touch.
It has a different feel to the finish. It is a little slicker. But once wax has totally cured, it can be buffed to that slick finish with 400 grit and sanding but it’s time consuming.
