I made this super short video on how to add a wash of chalk paint onto a piece that is already waxed.
Sometimes you may have finished your piece and then thought that you would like to add some softness or that it just wasn’t quite what you were striving for. This is when a wash is the perfect solution. Or, you have already waxed your piece in dark wax and it is too strong and you want to tone it down. Again, perfect solution!
Enjoy and Happy Valentine’s Day!

Do you think a dark chalk paint (gray) over a lighter aqua could work in a similar way?
Suzanne
Absolutely! The best part is trying different combos 🙂
