My favorite find from yesterday…Has had a makeover!
What do you think?
General Finishes Lamp Black milk paint with light distressing was what it was crying out for.
The gold trim finally has its chance to shine against the deep black. The hardware was polished and pulls the whole look together.
Even the back of this desk is lovely.
Do you remember the old top?
It’s now refinished and very stately in its new darker stain.
The desk has two black leather topped partitions that slide out of either side. The gold detailing embossed on the leather complements the gold touches.
What a find!
gorgeous- love the gold accents!
Thanks Cassie! I actually thought of you as I was painting it because I feel it has your vibe 🙂 BTW, great post today and keep your chin up – your blog is fantastic and don’t let the negativity get you down.
Gorgeous Suzanne! I love the 2 colors together and this is a beautiful desk!
I love the refinished top. And the gold on the black really pops! Fabulous!
Thanks, Jamie!
