Glass Floor Bathroom with Open Shaft Below
This may look a little intimidating in your bathroom, but Hernandez Silva Arquitectos recently designed this glass floor bathroom set atop an unused 15 story lift shaft in a penthouse situated on top of a 70′s Mexican colonial building in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. It has now become an internet sensation. According to the design studio, there was initially supposed to be a second elevator in the building, but it was never built and instead became a bathroom.

Having a pool would be the dream, but having a balcony pool is even better. It will cost a lot but and you’ll have to have a lot of glass material. However, if you’ve got the money, and the balcony, and the desire (?) then it’s so worth it to create your little piece of heaven.
