Hey guys, I haven’t posted in a few days due to computer woes! Tell Us Tuesday will be back next week with Susan from Saw Nail and Paint (can’t wait!). In the meantime, I have been busy. I painted my living room in Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige and shall share pics soon. It is a fantastic neutral and I’m very happy with it.
I also have been working on transforming a pair of 1970’s tables using General Finishes chalk style paint and their Java Gel Stain. I’ll have the full before and after tomorrow. Here is a video on applying both the paint and stain and you can see how lovely they are shaping up!

Another great video Suzanne! Looking forward to seeing the finally 🙂 Love the tables, especially the shape of the legs.

Can’t wait to see the finished product! You make it look so EASY!

They are looking good! My question is, will you wipe any of the stain off or just leave it as is?
I’m looking forward to seeing the end result!
Suzanne
Hi Sian! I don’t know if you read the latest post (sorry I’m late responding to comments this week) but I did actually wipe some off by mistake and love the way they turned out. It was a happy mistake lol!

Suzanne, I love your website, tutorials and looking at your finished painted pieces.
[But]Recently the site has been so flooded with ads that is is becoming annoying and (to me) not very user friendly.
Suzanne
I’m sorry that the ads are annoying to you. There is one on the side that you can click off and the others (I believe) are not too conspicuous. I had the ads that pop up on the bottom of the pics taken off. I really can’t take any more ads off or I wouldn’t be able to keep my blog going. Thanks so much.
