Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day of thanks with family and friends. Our day began with the Bethesda, MD Turkey Chase. It’s a fun run (2 miles) and thousands of people participate. It feels great to run a few miles before going home to eat until you almost burst 🙂 I was very proud of my running partner, Matthew (who is 16 with long legs and not easy to keep up with but I just about managed it) and my girls who ran the event together.

i agree- it is nice to start the day with a run and then not feel guilty! i ran 9.5 miles alone and didn’t see turkeys, but saw some vultures because i must have looked like death. but then i felt no guilt when i came to double dessert! 🙂
What a great run! I used to run a lot more but hurt my leg about three years ago from over doing it. Trying to get my stamina back! You never look like death, my dear! Glad you had a great Thanksgiving! I ate double dessert too 🙂
