Meg contacted me and asked about my giving a little bookcase that she owns a makeover. She dropped it off last month and I finally was able to get it done for her. Thanks for being so patient, Meg! Here is the before:
Her inspiration color was the blue on this gorgeous cupboard (image via Pinterest).
I recreated it using three colors from Annie Sloan – Florence, French Linen and Provence.
Here is the after and I believe the color is pretty spot on!

Hi Shona, thanks so much! I layered the colors. First Florence, then French Linen and then thin final coat of Provence. Super fine sanding sponge and there you have it!

I love the color layering…so pretty. But all of those shelves, and the back and inside of the bookcase and outside of it…it may not look like it, to some but I know a lot of work went into that piece…Well done!
