The Paris Grey Bedroom Set is complete! I just finished both the chair and shelf that go along with the dresser, nightstand, vanity and mirror. Wow! What beauties these pieces have become in Annie Sloan Paris Grey. I particularly love the shelf. All of its detail now pops and I know it will be fabulous on Julia’s wall. The chair also has fantastic detail that was brought out with the paint and will be reupholstered once Julia gets it back. She is going to find a fabric that complements the grey paint.
I added three coats of paint to cover these pieces really well. I then went over them in 220 grit sandpaper which smoothed the paint and 120 grit sandpaper on the bits and pieces that I wanted to distress. They were sealed with Annie Sloan clear wax. Here goes!

My other projects are also humming along. Here is the little french provincial table which I finished quite a few months ago and I’m working on its matching pair now! I’ll keep you posted 🙂
Bedroom set looks gorgeous. I’ve just done a mirror in grey (although not ASCP) and collected a similar pretty shelf unit which I bought at auction.

What a set! Lucky Julia. It is all gorgeous but I particularly loved the bed side table. And as for the chair, actually the existing fabric isn’t too bad. I think it looks really nice. Great job.
