I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter or Passover! We had a great day with a dinner of baked ham, potatoes, asparagus, cornbread casserole and apple crumble for dessert – yum! Today is the last day of spring break. Ella passed her lifeguard training and my son finished his driver’s ed so it was quite a productive week!
I have a very sweet favorite find Monday to share today. Jane is a neighbor and friend and I’m so happy to have the opportunity to give her little vintage desk a makeover. It’s a child’s roll top desk and has been in their family for years. We are in the midst of choosing a calming, neutral color for it and I know that the result will be fabulous. These little desks always are totally transformed with paint!
This is the second piece that I have done for Jane. Last year, I finished her Empire Buffet, which was quite a wonderful transformation (POST: Empire Chest Before and After).
I also shared pics of Jane’s newly renovated home (POST: Gorgeous Dining Room Reveal)! I’m looking forward to bringing new life to this little desk!

I’d like to have a desk like this. Will be interested to see what you do with it. Will it be used by a child or for another purpose?

Hi Mary – it is going in her guest room and I know it will look really sweet in it. I saw the room and it’s periwinkle blue so we are going with a calmer color to coordinate.

I have a desk like this. Can’t wait to see what you do with it! I’ve hesitated changing it!

I’m looking forward to this one too! I think it is going to look amazing – I hope to give you a little inspiration for your desk (lucky you have one!)!
