Say, what? A Pirate Chest? Well, yes. It definitely wasn’t filled with gold when I found it but it is a vintage chest with a great pirate on it and a pretty neat find! I found it a few years ago at a thrift store and brought it home. It sits at the bottom of my stairs and is full of sports equipment and other bits and bobs that my kids shed as they walk through the front door!
It is really old and, I think, pretty cool!
As you can see, I have still not finished stenciling around my door! I plan on adding board and batten to the bottom half of the foyer walls and the stenciling will show on top. I have ideas, people 🙂
