Ella’s Room and the Blush Dresser

 

The Blush Dresser has made its way up the stairs into its new home, Ella’s Room! She is now 15 and we are spending time this summer redecorating her room with more mature pieces. Her more girlish furniture has made its way into Sophie’s room. Sophie is 11 and has benefited from this project! We are also going through her closet and getting rid of many items that she has outgrown and other knick knacks that we can now toss.

I stenciled her walls a few years ago and they remain the same. After all of that effort, they will stay the way they are for many, many years! I am happy with the eclectic look that they give the space. We purchased curtains, a rug, lamp and large print from Ikea (love Ikea!) in a deep plum color.

I was amazed when we moved the Blush Dresser into her room. The dresser has a lovely, blush top and it blends beautifully with the plum color scheme! It actually brings out the blush even more.  I took pics to share with you all.  Here is my Ella and her updated room! I will share more pics during the summer as we go proceed with the room.
