My favorite find Monday today is a doozy! A vintage Drexel Dresser from their Triune collection. I spotted this fantastic piece on Craigslist and my husband and I drove out to pick it up. It is super long (75″) which also made it super heavy but we managed to get it home! Although it’s beaten up and in desperate need of some tlc, it’s still gorgeous and the perfect candidate for a makeover! Behind the cabinet door are a few drawers for extra storage. I really think this piece is perfect for both the bedroom or as a dining room buffet.
This one will have to wait until after the holidays! I’m off to Trader Joe’s to pick up brussel sprouts, etc. for Christmas dinner. We are having 16 guests over and I’m making an English roast lamb and roast potatoes. Time to get organized – yikes!

Hi Neena! Half the fun is thinking of all the different possibilities in a piece but this one just screamed it to me the second I saw it! I have this same piece sitting in my garage waiting for inspiration. When I saw this picture I had a moment of panic as I believed somehow my pictures were online. I have the same furniture hoarding look behind mine, as well as missing the hardware from the right bottom drawer! I see from your additional pictures that your hardware is on top and had a question. I live in a very small town and there are few options for finding replacement hardware. I have searched online with no luck. Do you have any tips or online store recommendations for finding replacement hardware? Thanks so much for any help!
So funny that you thought your pic had been stolen! We both scored a great piece of furniture! For hardware, I use D.Lawless Hardware. They have an online shop and their products are fabulous. To find replacement hardware, Ebay is a good place to go. I have done that before with success. Don’t you hate it when one is missing?! Good luck with your project!
