The Painted Drawer is now on Instagram! I am still in the beginning stages and have only posted a few pictures, so bear with me! To start, I thought to share the Mason Jar candles that were quite a hit at the Luckett’s Holiday Market and super easy to make.
My daughter’s and I made two different Mason Jar candles for the holidays. We sold many of them and had people take pictures to copy at home which was fun! They look great on your table or to give as holiday gifts.
The first are with floating glass votive holders.
These jars are the shorter, rounder version (3 1/2″ diameter). They fit the standard glass floating votive holders perfectly. Place your glass pebbles into the mason jar and add the glass votive holder on top with the candle.
These are fun as you can change them up by adding red glass for Christmas or blue for a beach house.
Here are the snow candle mason jars…
All that is needed are – mason jars (I buy mine either used from the thrift store or new from our local craft store), Epsom salts and a votive candle in its glass container. Pour the salt in the jar first, add the votive in its glass container into the jar – pressing it into the salt – and close it up! I tied a small embellishment around the lid with ribbon to give it some extra flair!
I love the vintage blue mason jars. They add a pop of color to the table.
Off to New York for the weekend to visit my sister and wish my niece a very happy 1st birthday!
