Typically, people want to move house because they desire a bigger home and need more space. Or, maybe their lives are changing professionally and they want to go wherever their best career options are. It could be that they are a growing family and need a house that will be closer to schools. Whatever the reason is, stop and think for a second before you list your house. Right now you might have pipes and electricity cables that go through the top of your roof and into the attic area, but this can be turned into a brand spanking new room. You’ll need to get a structural survey done for your home to see if you can actually support flooring, plumbing and wiring. If all goes well, you’re on your way to getting a new room installed.

This is why specialist companies have their own designers, quantity surveyors, builders and draftsmen that all work together stage by stage to build a completely different home.
If you want to get creative, and have the space and the finances, consider building a garden house. This can be a two bedroom structure or perhaps just a room for leisure. It could house an indoor swimming pool or be a guest house.
