This little console table was purchased last month at a thrift store. It was wrapped up but all of its pieces were there and I could tell that it had potential!
I went with a pop of pink (Behr Marquee Vintage Tea Rose) on the bottom and sanded back the top. I used Varathane gray stain and then sanded it back again. It toned down the reddish tone and gave it an aged look.
Lovely
Very pretty, Suzanne! The perfect stain choice for the pink color.
Thank you, Marie! I hope you have a great weekend!
Suzanne, what a sweet piece! Love it. Linda
Thank you, Linda!
suzanne, is this piece for sale? If so, I would be interested.
Hi Fran, Yes, it is and I’ll send you a pm ?
Very sweet table Suzanne! I love the pairing of the pink and stained top. Have a great day!
Thanks, Denise! You too and hope it is warming up in Canada!
Lovely!
Thanks, Elaine!
Suzanne, I love what you do with furniture! I have several pieces of dark furniture that I would love to have refinished/painted. I live in South Florida; I know that you are not nearby, but wonder if there is some way to find someone with your talent down here? A network of people who do this work?
Thanks!
Hi Maria, I don’t know of anyone in particular but you can go online and find your local Annie Sloan stickiest and they can likely help you. Best of luck!
