This little console table was purchased last month at a thrift store. It was wrapped up but all of its pieces were there and I could tell that it had potential!
I went with a pop of pink (Behr Marquee Vintage Tea Rose) on the bottom and sanded back the top. I used Varathane gray stain and then sanded it back again. It toned down the reddish tone and gave it an aged look.
Lovely

Suzanne, I love what you do with furniture! I have several pieces of dark furniture that I would love to have refinished/painted. I live in South Florida; I know that you are not nearby, but wonder if there is some way to find someone with your talent down here? A network of people who do this work?
Thanks!
Suzanne
Hi Maria, I don’t know of anyone in particular but you can go online and find your local Annie Sloan stickiest and they can likely help you. Best of luck!
