I am happy to say that the Classic Black Dresser has found a new home! It is one of only two pieces that I have finished in the relatively new product, General Finishes Chalk Style Paint. It also is one of my most “pinned” pieces. It has found a new home in Maryland and I’m so happy for its owner as she is thrilled with it. The dresser was finished in half part Pepper Black to half part Empire Gray and then dry brushed in the black before sealing.
The other piece that I finished in General Finishes Chalk Style Paint is the Rembrandt Red Chest. I really love that red! This piece was picked up by the movers a few weeks ago to make its way back into its newly renovated home. It is going into a gorgeous new foyer with a gray slate colored tile floor. Can’t wait to take its pics when it is all set to share with you all.
Hmmm…what color to try next? Apricot is calling to me 🙂

It would be fun to see what you would do in apricot!!!
Suzanne
I know! I am waiting for the right piece to try it on! It will appear hopefully soon 🙂

How do you ship your work? Do your clients pay and arrange? Or do you?
Love your stuff!
Thanks
Suzanne
Hi Lisa, I have a mover that I use locally and I also have a few shippers that I use for long distances. I recommend UShip to start. My customers pay for shipping and I do all of the arranging 🙂

Suzanne, I have a piece that is almost exactly like your red one. I’ve been vacillating about painting it for years. After seeing yours, the decision is made. Now which color? Thanks for getting me off the fence.
Suzanne
I’m so glad that my piece gave you inspiration! Honestly, that is one of my favorite pieces for a true “before and after”! Best of luck on your project!
Kelly
Love both of them, especially the black one!
Suzanne
Thanks, Kelly!
