This week’s FFM (Favorite Find Monday) is a little mid-century modern table that I purchased for $12.99. I just love its classic mid-century shape and legs. The feet have all tarnished to a dirty green color but I’ll clean them up. I can see this beauty in a fun, eclectic space and am looking forward to transforming it soon! I’ve noticed that the top looks pretty interesting. It should be fun to sand it down and see what lies beneath the grime and the damage! I see a ton of potential in this one.
I made a blackberry crisp for dessert the other evening and it was so delish! I got the recipe from one of The Painted Drawer Link Party features this week. Debra over at Shoppe No5 shared it and you can find the recipe on her blog . I would love more links so please share your creativity! Recipes are more than welcome!
The farmhouse table “before and after” tomorrow! It really looks amazing in Annie Sloan Aubusson and Provence 🙂 My two favorite Annie Sloan colors make a gorgeous combo 🙂

I can’t wait to see what you do with this cutie Suzanne…and your blackberry crisp looks delish! Have a great day. x
Suzanne
Thanks, Denise! It was quite the job to sand back that top but it is now done! You need to try that crisp recipe – yum!

Looks like the top may have burled wood in the center. That would be great. I’d have a hard time painting over that if the cleaning and sanding removes the black mark. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Suzanne
Yes, it does have the burled wood in the center. If it hadn’t I would have given up sanding and painted it – it was quite the job! I’ll show you the video in a few days. Holy smokes. However, it looks great now! I had to break out the orbital 🙂

It will be fun to see how you bring new life into the table. Isn’t the blackberry crisp delicious? Not fattening at all, right??
Suzanne
Hi Debra – OMG I am so sorry! I just realized that I put down that the recipe was Susie’s (she had linked a different recipe) and it actually is yours! My sincerest apologies. I am sooooo sorry. It was totally delicious!
