Remember my boring, bland, dark hallway? I decided to tackle it head on and create my own DIY Makeover for Under $100 Challenge! I went to the thrift store and was very lucky. I was looking for a few bookcases and found the perfect ones. They match in height/depth/shelf heights (one case is slightly longer than the other) and at $12.99 each, a pretty good deal! One of them has a really disgusting ball of wax that is melted into the bottom shelf – this really isn’t Pottery Barn! BTW, all that stuff behind them is mine too 
Over the weekend, we also went to the Nats game to celebrate my birthday (my husband was away on business all week so we celebrated this weekend instead). It was freezing cold but we always love our Nats ♥
And, I got a short haircut for summer. 
Now we just need some sunshine and warmth!
