Cast Iron Garden Bench in Driftwood

I finished the vintage cast iron garden bench that was this week’s Favorite Find Monday.  I used General Finishes milk paint in the color Driftwood to give it back its style.  Here is a pic of its gorgeous new home where it is going to be placed on the lovely front porch.new house build

Remember that it had an original coat of white paint on it?  I used that as the base and applied the milk paint over it, leaving it off in the places where I wanted to highlight the design.  We decided to basically highlight the birds as they are pretty interesting and different.  Sorry I had to take its pics in the garage.  It was just too heavy to move for its glamour shots!Cast Iron BenchCast Iron Bench 4 Cast Iron Bench 2 Cast Iron Bench 6Cast Iron Vintage Bench
