I finished the vintage cast iron garden bench that was this week’s Favorite Find Monday. I used General Finishes milk paint in the color Driftwood to give it back its style. Here is a pic of its gorgeous new home where it is going to be placed on the lovely front porch.
Remember that it had an original coat of white paint on it? I used that as the base and applied the milk paint over it, leaving it off in the places where I wanted to highlight the design. We decided to basically highlight the birds as they are pretty interesting and different. Sorry I had to take its pics in the garage. It was just too heavy to move for its glamour shots!
A fun project!
I took this pic yesterday of our house. Spring has finally sprung and it feels great 🙂
