Welcome to The Painted Drawer Link Party!
We all love the true “before and after” on this blog and last week’s features won’t let you down! They epitomize what talent, creativity and vision can do. Let’s party!
What a week! Let’s get started!
This one just made me smile from ear to ear. Vintage Refined had a dog shower built into her mudroom and it is genius!
The Interior Frugalista took the standard, dated 70’s coffee table and had the brilliant idea of converting it into an entryway bench – wow, Marie!
Scavenger Chic used old bits and pieces to make this Spoon Junk Angel and I think her creativity is just out of this world!
Clockwork Interiors takes ordinary end tables and transforms them into a gorgeous pair. So pretty!
Orphans with Makeup used an old window to create this gorgeous botanical prints hanging. I actually bought an old book full of botanical prints months ago and have a window just waiting in my garage – thanks for the inspiration, Mary!
Saw Nail and Paint uses simplicity in white to transform this serpentine dresser. Lovely! This week we head over to Galveston Island on this great blog post by The Dedicated House. It shares the history and amazing photos of the area. I found it so interesting and have added yet another destination to my list!

Thanks again for the feature! Also, LOVED seeing that ’70’s coffee table makeover. I actually have one very similar that has been laying around and ignored b/c I didn’t know what to do with it. I now have some inspiration! Have a great weekend!

Thanks, Suzanne, for including my end tables among your features — I knew you never met a pair of end tables you didn’t like! 😉 Thanks also for hosting each week! Take care. Cynthia

I love all your work, Suzanne — but I have a question for you. I’ve chalk painted a whole set of bedroom and dining room furniture for my daughter’s home. I’ve had issues with opening and closing drawers after painting them. I feel like I have to sand all the paint off to get them to close. I don’t like the look of the paint being on just the front surface. I think it looks good if you paint the edges of the drawer. How do you solve this issue? I have a small sweet silver chest I want to paint but I don’t want to mess it up. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

That duck blue is so beautiful. Gorgeous chest, Suzanne! Even the hardware is to die for.
Love that dog shower and the doggie cousins! LOL!
Thank you for sharing so much inspiration each week.
