It has taken me all week but I can now say that the Drexel Triune Dresser is done! What a truly stunning piece. It was transformed to create a rather rustic/glam vibe with a rustic, refinished top in a dark stain and sleek black on the body. The original hardware is aged to perfection and sets off the piece perfectly. I am in love!

This is one of my favorite pieces and styles. Did you use a white primer under the black milk paint or do you tint for primer?
Hi Vicki – I actually didn’t use a primer. The milk paint works well without one – especially over a dark wood. Cheers!
