I have two favorite finds today and both with a french flair! First up is this fantastic, cabriole legged dresser. The shape is beautiful and the size is fantastic with large, dovetailed drawers (one with dividers). I plan on taking off those pulls and adding new. What a transformation this will be.
The second favorite find just screams french country! Now, I know in my Likes and Dislikes List I dissed ruffles. So, with a red face, let me show off my other favorite find today. It’s a fantastic chair with a gorgeous, ruffled custom made seat cover in those beautiful french country colors of sunny gold and burgundy. The (ahem) ruffled skirt with little pom pom tassels is so sweet. I put it in front of the Halcyon Desk in our family room and Sophie uses it as her homework area. The best part? The chair and seat cushion cost $6.00 🙂 
Sophie uses the chair and desk every afternoon for her homework. I’m trying to decide if I should paint the chair or not. I think it’s fine as-is and complements the desk and so – gasp – no paint for now!
