My all time, favorite summer flowering bush is the hydrangea. I just love the vibrant big balls of blue and pink! My hydrangea is now coming to an end and again I am in love with the colors.
The result of my latest project, the French country Bassett buffet, complements the fading flowers that I adore! I think I came close to those gorgeous hues. The color combo gives it depth and the wax really brought out the hydrangea hue! The top was refinished and stained to compliment the distressing on the body. And look at that those curved drawers!
Here are my just cut blooms on my mantel…
Love!

Stunning! That piece won’t last a hot second in your shop! The elegant shape along with the way you’ve applied the color and wax is exquisite!

Hello, I have a sideboard similar to this one and I would like to finish it like you have here. I absolutely love the Hydrangea hues and would love to achieve this look on my own sideboard. Would you be willing to email me the colors you used and how you achieved this look? Thanks
