I love how each vintage piece is a true one of a kind gem. This one in particular.
The top has been refinished with a rich, dark stain. The bottom is in the true Annie Sloan french blue, Provence and painted to show off all of its detail work. I then dark waxed it for a super smooth finish. Swoon!
“What a depressing garden” you are thinking right now. Yes, it is. Please, spring arrive so I can plant some flowers!
I worked on this today as I am – gasp – out of Old White to finish my dining room chairs! Can you imagine – like a baker without flour 🙂 Celeste will come to my aid tomorrow and bring me more paint.
Cheers,
Suzanne
