I am in the process of implementing a new mail service for my subscribers. If you receive multiple emails today, I apologize. For some reason my new service is sending posts to the “Promotions” tab and not the “Primary” tab in gmail. A lot of viewers didn’t find the email yesterday due to this. If you missed it, the link is here (How To Refinish and Reupholster a Chair). I hope to have the glitches worked out really soon and apologize in the meantime!
I have a few fantastic finds to share today! I went to the thrift store with my daughters for the girls to buy their “ugly Christmas sweaters” for school. I walked in and there sat a lovely old table. The front drawer panel pushes inside and you can see that it used to likely be a sewing table or something along those lines. The old plug is still there. I won’t mess with the interior – it’s fine as is and unlike some old sewing tables, not very heavy. I will, however, have fun painting it!
The lamp was in the back of the store. It is definitely not vintage and actually looks like it is from HomeGoods! It didn’t have a price and so the cashier gave it to me for – get this – $1.99! Score!

Lamps are just sooooo expensive.
I have gotten all of mine for my.
New house from thrift stores and yard sales and then painted most of them in the colors I wanted.
Some even came with newish lamp shades.
All were between $2 and $9.
Can’t go wrong with a $1.99 lamp!!
Can’t wait to see what you do with the table.
