I have been flat out busy painting this past week. I posted a pic of the vintage dining room chair on Wednesday and am still working hard to make my client’s vision come to life. Part of her vision is gold highlights. I am now searching for a pot of gold!
In particular, Martha Stewart’s Vintage Gold Metallic paint. I bought this little jar from Home Depot years ago and it is my all time favorite gold color. I am actually coming to the end of the pot and went to buy more. Alas, Home Depot no longer sells it! What?! It has been – gasp – discontinued! 
I headed over to my Annie Sloan stockist and I purchased a small jar of Royal Stencil Creme in Antique Gold. I also purchased a quart of Ralph Lauren metallic paint in a gold tone from Home Depot. This is what I am striving to create and I will keep you posted!
Back to work I go and I hope to post the results soon 🙂
