Good Thursday, everyone! Another rainy day in Maryland and I had hoped to finish my chalk paint projects in my garage and in particular, the farmhouse table. Unfortunately, damp weather is like kryptonite to chalk paint. It just doesn’t dry. This means I don’t have a beautiful before and after to share today 🙁
I did finish my youngest child’s “Selfie Station”. It is my contribution to her school’s 5th Grade Celebration party tomorrow. The kids can have fun taking selfies in front of it with a selfie stick while wearing silly hats, feather boas, etc. and can write messages on the chalkboard panels. Believe it or not, this took a while to construct!
Poster board, chalkboard spray paint, florescent piping, hot glue gun, liquid chalk, tissue paper, duct tape, string and a lot of patience and two young girls to help 🙂
I can’t wait to get all of the end of year activities, parties, ceremonies, etc. over with! #TiredoftheSchoolYear

That’s such a great idea and a nice thought for your daughter and her friends. Well done. Hopefully, you will share some of the photos? 🙂

I’m with you on the school end-of-year activities — exciting times for sure, but oh so crazy hectic! 😀
