If you follow my blog, it’s pretty apparent that I don’t hesitate to furnish my home from top to bottom with thrift store finds. There is one exception, however – soft furnishings. OK, I bought the most gorgeous pink sofa at a thrift store but, really, how could I not have?
Typically, I do hesitate on purchasing used soft furnishings. If I save hundreds on the rest of the house, I believe I can splurge on a throw pillow or two! Speaking of which, what do all the following gorgeous pics (via Pinterest) have in common?
Gorgeous throw pillows! You can take any old sofa or chair, add some sweet throw pillows and you have transformed it. Also in the bedroom – who doesn’t love a bed full of pillows? 
Well, my husband has never understood it. When first married, we were putting together the bed. I had him lift the mattress to put on a bedskirt, then the fitted sheet, duvet cover over the duvet, pillow cases and throw pillows. He was absolutely amazed, “There are more components to this bed than the space shuttle” I believe was the quote 🙂
