Wow. That is the word that kept shooting through my mind (well, that and unbelievable).
I spent a few hours the other afternoon window shopping. I thought it would be interesting to compare my vintage finds to the more upscale furniture shops. OK, follow me here –
My little table which just sold for $195.00 via Etsy (I love it!)…
and one I saw at an upscale furniture store the other day…
Here is a bow front dresser I finished last month. It sold for $375.00…
and a side table at the store…
Half the size and way more than twice the price of my lovely bow front.
Wow! Shop vintage – recycling at its best!!!
Here’s a little news from The Painted Drawer – the logo is almost done and is looking great. I’m pretty excited to get it up on the blog and facebook. I have been super busy painting and hunting for more pieces to bring to On A Whim for the open house weekend of November 2nd. As far as projects, the french country sideboard is finished in cream and country grey and is going to its new home in New Jersey next week – just in time for the holiday season!

And yours is far far more superior!!!
I painted the exact same dresser as your yellow one – aren’t they a gorgeous design?

Thanks, Suzan! I love the design too. I was just so amazed at the prices out there that I had to write about it! Cheers, Suzanne
